Director of ICT

You will need to be an astute, energetic, empathetic and creative individual with the necessary skills and passion to lead and empower the ICT directorate to deliver, maintain and advance technological capability within policing and its supporting functions.

As the Director of ICT, you will work closely with the Chief Officer teams of Norfolk and Suffolk, the Police and Crime Commissioners from both counties, senior management and stakeholders across the organisations. You will develop an ICT strategy that is aligned to the National Policing Digital Strategy and also contributes to the mission, vision and values of Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies.

As well as ensuring key and critical systems, kit and equipment run smoothly on a daily basis, you will maximise the benefit of our recent investment in the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, and drive the exploitation of cloud services and advanced technologies such as robotics and automation.

This post is offered on a permanent and full-time basis.

Consideration will be given to whether the post can be delivered on either a part-time or job share basis, in line with the organisational requirements of this role.
